Seymore and Shane's group of porn community friends were really a cut above the rest. In college, they were my first experience with video porn. I think they set a properly high bar when it came to sex as a fun, pleasurable activity, with mutual respect and responsibility (condoms/safe sex in the age of AIDS, which was fatal in the 80s and 90s) at the core, in those formative years. Seymore and Shane helped make me a better lover, a better man, and a better person... honestly. In those days of vcr tapes, Ron Jeremy's circle was the alternative. I think I made the better, healthier choice.
